M HKA gaat digitaal

M HKA goes digital

Embracing the possibilities of new media, M HKA is making a particular effort to share its knowledge and give art the framework it deserves.

We are currently focusing on the experience in the museum with this application for smartphones and tablets. In the future this will also lead to a versatile desktop version, which is now still in its construction phase.

Bedtime Story For Dieter

Once a woman and a man were walking in the forest. Perhaps they stopped to make love. When they resumed their walk they were spotted by some lions and lionesses who wanted to eat them up. The man immediately took out his trumpet — some say a violin — and began to play. The woman-albeit in another style and various keys — augmented the man's playing with her singing. And so together they charmed and soothed the wild beasts who took up pensive peaceful yet joyous attitudes. And then perhaps the woman and man made love again. And so did the big cats.

I'm So Weary of Patriarchy Song

I'm so weary of patriarchy
Oh Ariadne I feel you're near
Now the tired make the orgies
In the suburbs of their knees
Let's go where the lively reveled
In the morning of the world

I think I'm yearning for matriarchy
Oh Ariadne don't go away
When this blood thirst comes upon me
How my man lusts after me

We're all so weary of patriarchy
Oh Ariadne I know you're here
Let's go where the lively reveled
In the morning of the world

In those shaded wooded groves dear
Where we tore those beasts apart
If you submit I will lead you
And at last reveal your heart

I'm so weary of patriarchy
Oh Ariadne come show the way
Let's go where the lively reveled
In the morning of the world
