M HKA gaat digitaal

M HKA goes digital

Embracing the possibilities of new media, M HKA is making a particular effort to share its knowledge and give art the framework it deserves.

We are currently focusing on the experience in the museum with this application for smartphones and tablets. In the future this will also lead to a versatile desktop version, which is now still in its construction phase.

For Cabeça coletiva, Lygia Clark constructed in her apartment a large wooden structure, full of compartiments, where she kept objects received from her students: notes, fruits, cookies, confetti, etc.

One day, Lygia and her students took the “head” to the streets, fitted on the body of one of them. They started consuming the objects contained in it, and proposed to the passersby to do the same. People could also add and remove things from the structure
