Photography
These photos are a series of images of the violently suppressed street protests in Rio de Janeiro in 1968, made by photojournalist Evandro Teixeira for the newspaper Jornal do Brasil, a platform for opposition during the military dictatorship.
The death of the student Edson Luis by the police had culminated in this protest called the Mars of the 100 thousand.
