M HKA gaat digitaal

M HKA goes digital

Embracing the possibilities of new media, M HKA is making a particular effort to share its knowledge and give art the framework it deserves.

We are currently focusing on the experience in the museum with this application for smartphones and tablets. In the future this will also lead to a versatile desktop version, which is now still in its construction phase.

Lives in Ronse (), lives in Arnhem (), born in Volkel ().

Mark Manders is a Dutch visual artist. His oeuvre consists mainly of installations, drawings, sculpture and short films. An important characteristic of the art of Mark Manders is that his works are not to be seen as separate, individual works of art, but are constituent of his larger *self-portrait as a building*: a labyrinthine sculptural construction with many virtual rooms. The installations are representations of his ideas and thoughts and invite the viewer to decipher both the mystery of the work, and of the artist.
