So kann die Parteiendiktatur überwunden werden a été édité par l’Organisation für direkte Demokratie durch Volksabstimmung [Organisation pour la démocratie directe par consultation populaire] de Joseph Beuys. Le sac en plastique rempli de pamphlets – et parfois d’une feuille de feutre – était une manière de diffuser les idées politiques de l’organisation. Sur les diagrammes à l’extérieur, on peut voir la « véritable » démocratie directe sous forme de referendum placée face à la partitocratie. En 1977, à l’occasion d’une exposition à l’Académie des Beaux-Arts de Gand, une version néerlandaise de l’édition a été produite.
