M HKA gaat digitaal

M HKA goes digital

Embracing the possibilities of new media, M HKA is making a particular effort to share its knowledge and give art the framework it deserves.

We are currently focusing on the experience in the museum with this application for smartphones and tablets. In the future this will also lead to a versatile desktop version, which is now still in its construction phase.

Collection: Collectie M HKA, donation by Christian Kaspar Schwarm, 2022 (Inv. no. S0722).

Beware the Anti-Iperialist Imperialists touches upon the similarities between the Iranian Revolution of 1979 and the Russian Revolution of 1917. Both revolutions advocated getting rid of foreign influence - in Russia's case, England, France and Germany and in Iran's, the West - only to then export their ideology. Russia to the rest of the globe (Central and South America, South East Asia, etc) via revolutionary communism and Iran to its neighbouring countries, from Lebanon (via Hezbollah) to Syria (via Hamas) and Iraq (via influence in the Shi'ite block), to name a few.
