Femmy Otten's sculpture Ontklede dagen (Days Undressed), uses wood sculpted as flowing water and incorporating mouths, noses, ears and penises, evoking the fluidity of sexuality and selfhood. Otten’s use of the symbolism of water is also central in Untitled, in which we see a seascape painted inside a sculpted segment of a male torso.
