Four versions of the 'throne to make thrones tremble' of the Pope of Halensee, chair with pipe, canonization of Vincent van Gogh, Amsterdam on the 30th of March 1990, day before the canonization itseld at the Academy Antwerp, where he would also be awarded a postumous diploma... one of these versions served as template for the stamp that was produced for the occasion.
