Film
There is a less obvious reference to the film The Godfather - because it's not directly related to one of the artist's works - but nonetheless merits mention. On 27 September 1995, opens the exhibition Panamarenko "Bernoulli", at the Brussels gallery of Christine and Isy Brachot. On the flip side of the invitation card, it states: 'Christine and Isy Brachot have a special practice, handling only one artist.' Panamarenko explains the inside joke: 'That line is a takeoff from The Godfather, when the family's consigliere tells the Hollywood producer that he has just a single client.'
