M HKA gaat digitaal

M HKA goes digital

Embracing the possibilities of new media, M HKA is making a particular effort to share its knowledge and give art the framework it deserves.

We are currently focusing on the experience in the museum with this application for smartphones and tablets. In the future this will also lead to a versatile desktop version, which is now still in its construction phase.

Literary synopsis

A light-speed novella, a love poem in prose, a cybernetic song in which sidereal club ogres devour their favourite dancers. Julio, the cosmic lover, runs on volcanos into the night as he waits for the new millennium. He is paranoid, no doubt, but intends to laugh.

Relation of the novel to the artist’s practice

L’amoureux Cosmique accompanied the objects and images that Eric Simon was producing at the time. Part of a larger narrative, L’amoureux Cosmique was adapted for theatre by Caroline Caza in 1990 and performed at Le Studio d’essai Claude-Gauvreau in Montréal. In general, writing offers the author another approach to the production of images.
