SPANISH BOAT HELD IN NEW YORK AFTER OWNERS CHARGE CREW SEIZED HER.
NEW YORK CITY- The 5,000 ton freighter Navemar, shown in New York harbor today where she is being guarded by patrol boats pending the settlement of protests made by the owners. The spanish owners of the vessel, Compania Espanola de Navegacion Maritima of South America, charged in Brooklyn Federal Court that the crew took the ship from Buenos Aires when the captain was ashore. The crew of thirty-four is now operated by a "commitee" who it is believed is sympathetic to the Spanish loyalists
