Trong Gia Nguyen is een kunstenaar en curator uit Brooklyn die internationaal heeft tentoongesteld, waaronder solotentoonstellingen in New York, Berlijn en Ho Chi Minhstad.
Groepstentoonstellingen: The Sixth Borough op Governors Island; Performa, Sequences Real Time Festival in IJsland; de Biënnale van Havana. Hij ontving beurzen van LegalArt Miami, Museum of Art and Design (New York), Artist in Residency in de Everglades, Foundation for Contemporary Arts, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Harvestworks Digital Media Center, Bronx Museum of the Arts, en Puffin Foundation. Als curator richtte Trong de experimentele ruimte New General Catalog op (2005-07) and organiseerde hij meer dan 25 tentoonstellingen. He schreef voor verschillende publicaties zoals Art:21, New York Arts Magazine en Flavorpill. Trong heeft een zitje in de adviesraad van het Fashion in Film Festival, EFA Project Space en Florence Artist in Residency (FAIR) Program.
Hij maakte ook deel uit van verschillende panels en gaf gastcolleges aan de Cue Foundation, Litouwen Center for Contemporary Art, Location One, New York University, School of Visual Arts, Columbia University, Icelandic Art Academy en Catalyst Foundation.
