Action Third Way is Beuys’ theory of political activism, developed in the late 1970s. The ‘Third Way’ opts for an economic system that stands apart from Western capitalist values and state created monopolies associated with Marxism. Beuys’ entire practice can be described as being actions, whether artistic, social or political.
