Channa Horwitz is largely interested in representing motion across time. She plots all activity in eight entities over a period of time using numbers, colors, and the eight-to-the-inch squares. While visually appealing in their own right as standalone drawings, these Sonakinatography compositions have also been performed via percussion, spoken word, electronic instruments and dance.
