"The performance Meeting Points (1978) compromises two parts. On the first day I perform in an empty gallery. My action in space corresponds to where I anticipate the audience will be in this space, and to how communication between us will develop. The action is videotaped. The next day a monitor is placed in one corner of the gallery and a playback of the video begins at the same moment that the live action commences. Now, I attempt to transform my anticipation into reality, i.e., I repeat my private performance in the presence of the audience. The action is videotaped (with the camera remaining in the same position)." (Sanja Iveković)
