M HKA gaat digitaal

M HKA goes digital

Embracing the possibilities of new media, M HKA is making a particular effort to share its knowledge and give art the framework it deserves.

We are currently focusing on the experience in the museum with this application for smartphones and tablets. In the future this will also lead to a versatile desktop version, which is now still in its construction phase.

“Sometimes I imagine my archives going on a journey. Why not send a consignment of frozen art magazines to Alaska, or roll them up and pack them off in crates to Mozambique? And even though this doesn’t happen, or only in my imagination, ‘Daily Dust’ does actually travel around the art scene, while at the very same time a couple of hundred million books – wherever they are in the world – have become too fragile to be circulated and read without the paper crumbling into dust.”
