In 1967 Beuys formed the German Student Party, claiming ‘The German Student Party is the world’s largest party, but most of its members are animals’. Besides the typed list of words there are a number of handwritten names, presumably members of the party, including Beuys’ name. Beuys later went on to co-found the Green Party in Germany.
