Excerpt of the conversation between Robert Filliou (RF) and Irmeline Lebeer (IL), Flayosc, France, August 1976.

RF: There’s also Futile Box, which is lost. It’s in the Cedilla thing. A box that you open, and there’s a ball inside. When you close the box the ball falls. I gave it to Hans Mayer in Düsseldorf to make multiples of it. He lost it. That was years ago already. Every time someone proposes an edition, I should tell him: ‘Why don’t you do it?’ I’ve designed them, but they’ve never been produced. There are all kinds of games, all are described in Teaching and Learning as Performing Arts. We don’t necessarily have to repeat that.
