Everything is Wrong, 1996, is a large wall painting that takes its name from Moby’s last album as a Techno artist before he turned more mainstream. The phrase itself is placed within a colourful circular target reminiscent of those by modernist painter Jasper Johns. Just like Moby’s two essays in the sleeve of this album, the phrase itself might be read as a reflection on the feeling at the time towards the erosion of the public sphere, as well as the effects of corporate globalisation on such things as the environment and the distribution of wealth.
