M HKA gaat digitaal

M HKA goes digital

Embracing the possibilities of new media, M HKA is making a particular effort to share its knowledge and give art the framework it deserves.

We are currently focusing on the experience in the museum with this application for smartphones and tablets. In the future this will also lead to a versatile desktop version, which is now still in its construction phase.

Bruno Munari

1907 - 1998

Died in Milan (Italy), born in Milan (Italy).

The multi-facetted Italian artist and designer Bruno Munari exhibits together with the Futurists in the 1930s. He designs books and objects of daily use. He makes mobiles, moving paintings and what today are called ‘artists books’. In 1948 he co-founds Movimento Arte Concreta, and tirelessly continues to experiment with different media. He could not attend the Hessenhuis exhibition in person, but the ten diapositive slides that he sends in an envelope by post are projected there through a polarized filter, giving many and varied color-effects.
